What to write about
01

A tip or a story

Something happening in WordPress you think we should look at. Off the record by default. We take confidentiality seriously.

02

A correction

We got something wrong. Tell us. Corrections are appended to the article on the same day we confirm them, and noted in the next issue.

03

Feedback on an issue

Something landed well, something missed, something you disagreed with. We read every reply. Most of them shape the next issue in some small way.

04

Sponsorship

One sponsor per issue. Long-form, clearly labelled, written by us in our own voice. Mention which issue and audience you have in mind and we'll send the rate card.

05

Press & interviews

Embargoed news, product previews, or a request to be interviewed for an upcoming piece. We tend to say yes, with caveats.

06

Just to say hello

Honestly, this is the most common one, and we still read all of them. No reply expected. We're glad you're reading.

What we can't help with

We love hearing from readers, but a few things genuinely aren't a fit. If your email is one of these, you'll get a polite redirect rather than an answer.

  • WordPress support questions for your specific site. We are a publication, not a help desk.
  • Guest post pitches. We don't run guest posts.
  • Link exchanges, SEO outreach, or anything that begins with "Hi, I came across your site".
  • Press releases about a new feature in your plugin. Weekend Within is editorial, not promotional.

A note on confidentiality.

Tips are treated as off the record by default. If you'd like to be quoted, on the record, or your name kept out of it, say so in your email and we'll respect it. We've never burned a source and we don't intend to start.
